I'm particularly interested in the role that technological literacy will play in widening socio-economic divides as access issues stand as a solid barricade while others forge ahead blessedly unhindered. I feel that this is a critical concern. However this is just one thread of a hideously complex tapestry that entwines all sections of our community. I'm beginning to understand that education is one part of the solution but without policy underpinned by compassion for our vulnerable, we are fighting a losing battle, if we are fighting at all. And how can we not fight when we are only as strong as our weakest members?
On a lighter note, in an ideal world, there would be at least an extra day in the week to fit in music performance, ministry, painting, gardening and motorcycling!
